Juhupost – a child's very first email
Juhupost is your child's very first own email: big buttons, read-aloud, dictation and Kuvi, the envelope who is happy about every letter. You decide who may write – everything else stays your child's business.
How it works
- You set it up: a mailbox for your child with a provider of your choice, the app on your parent device, and an address book with grandma, grandpa and best friends.
- You pair your child's device with a QR code. Your child never sees the password.
- Your child starts writing – to their contacts, with photos, drawings or dictated text.
- Mail from strangers waits for you. You approve or decline it.
Trust instead of surveillance
You only see what comes from or goes to strangers. Mail with approved contacts stays private between your child and their people – and the app tells your child so.
What Juhupost does
- A mailbox like a messenger: conversations, photos, big tiles
- Read-aloud and dictation for children who can't yet read and write confidently
- Address book with photos; your child asks for new contacts, you decide
- Attachments: pictures right away, everything else only after your approval
- Drawing with Kuvi stickers, colour themes, usage times (with Family)
- Several children and devices, all parent devices in sync
- Leaves no trace: one button removes everything Juhupost created in the mailbox
Your data stays with you
Juhupost has no server of its own. The app talks directly to your child's mailbox; mail, address book and settings live there and on your devices. No ads, no tracking, no subscription. More about safety and privacy
